65 YEARS MAKING HISTORY

This unique space renews its gastronomic offer and garden on its anniversary and is filled with art and music throughout the summer.

In the 1960s the first hippies arrived on the island of Ibiza; young people who stood out from the crowd with their colourful outfits and who hoisted peace wherever they went. A cosmopolitan and unique breeding ground in Franco's Spain in which the Las Dalias Market was born. A corner of the island that has a singular atmosphere and that hosts stalls with handmade products by artisans from Ibiza and other corners of the world, where creativity is experienced and the essence of the white island is inspired to give life to unique and exclusive items. This atmosphere is combined with the arrival in its gardens of national and international artists who pass through this space every year to offer unforgettable concerts to its visitors.

Today, this space located in the town of Sant Carles de Peralta, is more alive than ever and it celebrates 65 years of life with many new features designed to commemorate this date. To this end, it has renovated its legendary road bar, visited by artists ans artisans from all over the world , turning it into "Las Dalias Café", with an innovative menu and surprising architecture whilst remaining in touch with its mythical history. The rest of Las Dalias' gastronomic spaces are also transformed to show a new version of its garden and main restaurant, as well as its "Sky", "Juice area", "Pizzeria", "Soulbar", "La jaima" and "La Van". Another of the most innovative and magical proposals of this anniversary is the artistic project led by international graffiti artists "Boa Mistura" who have embellished the facades of Las Dalias with joy and colour within the framework of an artistic project that sends messages of love and optimism, decorating the entire exterior of Las Dalias in the form of a giant mural. This cultural action could be visited during its creation process from the 1st to the 17th of April.

To celebrate its 65th birthday, Las Dalias is hosting concerts this summer concerts with a luxury line-up of artists such as Babasónicos, Hilight Tribe, MiguelCampello (El Bicho), Juanito Makandé, presenting a new album, Orishas, Muchachito, Rapsusklei and SFDK and Johnny Ousborne, among others. Must see events such as the Rototom Festival, WaxDaJam, Ibiza Reggae Yard and new sessions and trends that are yet to be announced.

Another of the surprise proposals to celebrate this special year is the "Festival homage to Woodstock", which in turn celebrates its 50th anniversary with tributes all over the continent. Las Dalias joins this worldwide celebration in a day to commemorate peace, love and music.
