Being born on an island, growing up surrounded by the sea, raising a family in this small archipelago... What does it mean to grow up in Ibiza and Formentera? That is the experience that we wanted to collect in the new issue of LAS DALIAS IBIZA & FORMENTERA MAGAZINE. And it is that the Las Dalias Market, open since 1985, has seen up to four generations of families pass by who have made this corner of Sant Carles their place in the world. LAS DALIAS IBIZA & FORMENTERA MAGAZINE immerses itself in the most literary field of childhood, through the signatures of prominent authors, and also dives into the history of the families that have found their home in the market, generation after generation. We bring to our pages the environmental, cultural and patrimonial aspects that we like to highlight so much: the history of the boathouses, the fauna of the Santa Eulària river, a tribute to our beloved Erwin Bechtold and a new edition of the Festival and International Piano Competition of Ibiza... We also put the accent on the local product and on the recovery of traditional, ecological and sustainable agriculture in Ibiza. And, for the sixth year, we publish the winning stories of the "Las Dalias" International Short Story Contest.
