9th Call for Entries for the International Short Story Award “Las Dalias”, one of the most established short story competitions in the Spanish language.

From today until February 15, 2026, writers from all over the world may submit unpublished short stories in Spanish to compete for a prize of €3,000. Year after year, the competition receives more than a thousand entries, consolidating the international prestige of an award that positions Ibiza and Las Dalias as cultural landmarks beyond our borders.

The winning short story will be published, together with its English translation, in Las Dalias Ibiza & Formentera Magazine, distributed both on the islands and at leading international trade fairs such as FITUR (Madrid) and the World Travel Market (London). In addition, new initiatives to promote the shortlisted and award-winning stories will be announced in the coming months.
