On Thursday 16 October, the Garden at Las Dalias will conclude the Las Dalias Live Music series with the final of eight incredible performances. On this occasion, Álex Serra will return to the Garden stage. He is a musician and sonic explorer renowned for his ability to blend music, meditation, and collective trance. The event, which begins at 8:00 pm, promises to be a unique sensory journey combining immersive sounds and deep vibrations.
Álex Serra has developed his own distinctive style, fusing tribal rhythms, Amazonian sounds, dub, trip-hop, electronic music, and reggae, creating what he calls a “mandala of enveloping sounds.” His musical approach seeks to induce trance and meditation, inviting the audience into an introspective and spiritual experience.
Following his debut album In the Real World (2019), Serra released his second work, Trance Life, in 2023 – an album that delves into his connection with meditation, master plants, and spirituality. This work has resonated within the global music medicine community, establishing the Catalan artist as a leading figure in creating musical experiences that transcend the purely auditory.
For this concert, Álex Serra will be joined by Totidub, adding an extra dimension of depth and sonic richness. Together, they will create an immersive atmosphere where rhythms, basslines, and dub effects transport the audience into a state of trance and conscious enjoyment. The performance promises to be a unique experience, capable of connecting emotions, mind, and body through music.
We recommend avoiding peak hours (Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.), as significant traffic congestion occurs. Additionally, we may need to close the market entrance if full capacity is reached.
