The iconic Argentine band Bersuit Vergarabat will be performing in Ibiza on Thursday, 11 September, for the penultimate concert of Las Dalias Live Music. This highly anticipated event promises to be a journey through more than two decades of music, energy, and social engagement.
From their early days in the Buenos Aires underground scene to selling out River Plate Stadium in 2007, Bersuit Vergarabat have stood out for blending rock with Latin American rhythms such as cumbia, tango, murga, reggae, chacarera, and candombe, alongside lyrics rich in social and political commentary. With 15 albums released, they now present their most recent work, Cocoliche Life (2024), as part of a tour celebrating 25 years of their special connection with Spain.
Songs like “El estallido”, “Sr. Cobranza”, “La petisita culona”, and “La Bolsa” have become anthems of the Spanish underground, while the band has collaborated with artists such as La Pegatina, Ilegales, Eskorzo, and Calamaro. With around 240 shows across more than 40 Spanish cities, the Argentine group has established itself as a key figure in the cultural bridge between Argentina and Spain.
Doors will open at 20:00, offering the audience the chance to enjoy an evening of music, dance, and memories celebrating the richness of Ibero-American music.
We recommend avoiding peak hours (Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.), as significant traffic congestion occurs. Additionally, we may need to close the market entrance if full capacity is reached.
